Throughout the year, the Harvest Helping hands Food Bag Program packs and distributes more than 3300 very full bags of child-friendly non-perishable groceries to food insecure children and their families. Each bag contains more than 18 meals. Recipient families are determined by Broward County Schools Social Workers and other reputable local social service agencies. These monthly food packings are a fantastic way for community partners to get involved. By working together, we are able to pack 360 bags or 144 boxes in one day providing immediate and impactful assistance for families in crisis. Engage with us at a packing. Feed your soul by feeding others.
If your company or organization would like to partner for a bag packing, please reach out to Renee Herman, Founder at
